Črni tartuf

Črni tartuf

Sezona svežega črnega tarftufa začne v mesecu maju in traja do meseca novembra.

Črni tartuf (Tuber aestivum Vitt), znan tudi kot poletni tartuf, je rjave barve, njegove dimenzije pa so različne, podobno kot pri belem tartufu, lahko so velikosti češenj ali pa kot jabolko. Najbolj znana najdišča na Hrvaškem se nahajajo v Istri, v bližini kraja Livade.

Zanj je, tako kot za ostale gobe iz družine tartufov, značilno, da raste pod zemljo, brez vidnih stebel, vendar v simbiozi z drugo rastlino, od katere sta odvisna vonj in aroma samega gomolja. Nabira se ga z dresiranimi psi tartufarji. Sezona črnega tartufa traja od meseca maja do meseca novembra, ko ga je mogoče dobiti svežega.
